Jackson Textiles · West Yorkshire · since 1985

Performance knitted in.

Specialists in high-performance knitted pile and fleece textiles for demanding applications.

A family-run mill that turns a performance, product or design problem into a controlled, repeatable material specification.

What we do

We solve product and performance problems with specialist knitted textiles.

Fibre selection, carding, sliver knitting, shearing, tumbling and backing, under one roof at Bowers Mill.

Customers come to us with an application, not a catalogue number: a saddle pad that must move moisture, a veterinary bed that must survive daily washing, a cockpit seat that must stay comfortable for hours, a mattress topper that must keep its loft. We select or develop the construction, sample it, validate it and lock a specification that repeats.

The mill · Family-run since 1985

A Yorkshire mill with a worldwide reach.

Peter Jackson & Sons Ltd was formed in 1985 in the village of Barkisland, in the heart of West Yorkshire, and has grown into one of the UK's leading names in specialist knitted pile and fleece textiles.

Consistently high standards, close attention to detail, and a willingness to work with customers on exactly what they need rather than only what is on the shelf. Yorkshire has been the heart of British wool for generations; our expertise is inherited, practised and refined in the same landscape.
