British wool, traceable from fleece to fabric.

Our wool is sourced from British farms through the British Wool network, with transparency and traceability from fleece to fabric. It is a renewable fibre with natural shades, breathability and useful moisture interaction, knitted into a resilient pile that recovers under repeated compression.

Why wool

Technically advanced, natural in construction.

"Wool is not traditional in the archaic sense. It is technically advanced, modern in its natural construction, and timeless in its performance."

Wool can absorb and release moisture vapour and help moderate temperature at the contact surface, which is why it is specified for close-contact equine products, aircrew seating and premium bedding. It is naturally breathable, renewable and biodegradable.

In a high-pile construction, fibre choice, density, pile height and backing are balanced for recovery and service life. We work with 100% British wool in two grades, and with wool and polyester blends where comfort, care and price positioning call for them.

Provenance

Traceable British fibre

Sourced through the British Wool network, with traceability from fleece to fabric.

Performance

Breathable and moisture-active

Wool can absorb and release moisture vapour and help manage the microclimate next to the body or the horse.

Shades

Natural colours

Natural British wool shades and selected coloured options; multiple UB wool constructions chosen through sampling.

Pile

Resilient under load

Heavyweight constructions up to 3 kg per linear metre, developed for repeat compression and recovery.

Fibre provenance and finished-product certification are two different things. We can evidence where the wool comes from and how the fabric is made. Certification of a finished product, and the use of any certification mark on it, belongs to the brand or finished-product manufacturer under the certifying body's guidelines.
